Portrait by Andy Pilsbury
Design, Illustration & graphic art
I specialise in working alongside cultural events, organisations and projects and have a special interest in design for sound and performance. My design work is often, but not exclusively print based and aims to support the artistic undertaking of others through a collaborative approach to to documentation, presentation and dissemination. My illustrative and visual art practice has involved commissioned work for galleries, editorial and publishing.
Educational projects design, planning and delivery
I have over 15 years experience working in teaching and learning environments in both technical support and teaching roles. I hold a teaching qualification in Post 16 Education and have planned, delivered and assessed learning from BTEC to Postgraduate Level. My work often integrates work with different community groups and I have delivered sessions to support & inform projects in a variety of public settings including schools, galleries and libraries. These aim to encourage artistic expression without imposing value judgements and to develop projects in unique and unexpected ways.
